What PrEP is

PrEP stands for pre-exposure prophylaxis. It is a prescription medicine you take before any contact with HIV, and it prevents infection. Taken as prescribed, it is highly effective.

The clinic

Butler County Health Department runs a free PrEP clinic once a month. The point is to remove cost as the reason someone goes without protection.
